About

Before I get started, thank you for taking the time to venture over to my blog.

I hope you stay, read along, and enjoy your time here.

Hello, my name is… well, I am still not ready to share this. Right now, I simply want to enjoy reading and reviewing. I will probably change this at some point, but I am a little bit more on the shyer side and like to take things a bit slower. I do want to share a little bit of myself with you, so here is what I will divulge…

My love for books started young.

I grew up with three sisters, so life was always full of adventure and drama. I loved reading as a child and then one day it deepened as I bonded with one of my sisters over romance books. She introduced me to Lori Wick, a Christian romance author, and her books. I would read these books then discuss them with my sister. We both agreed it would be the greatest and most romantic gesture if a man proposed to us with an endless number of books or even a library in our new home, he already built for us. Maybe this is what I should bring up when people ask me why I am still single…

Ever since those early days, I have been hooked on books and discussing them. I specifically enjoy dissecting the characters and their relationship. Even more so, I like to wonder if I would tolerate what transpired throughout their relationship and is that the man I would my man my man about.

My favorite book, author, genre

These are very hard questions to answer. How does one simply choose? My list is much longer, but to keep it short:

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins: This is one of my all-time favorite mystery/thriller books. The plot itself, chef’s kiss. I was obsessed with Paula’s writing style and attention to detail with her characters.

Lori Wick: Christian romance author who wrote both historical and contemporary stories. I appreciated her ability to incorporate Christianity and Scripture into her writing in an organic way that didn’t come off as cheesy or cringey. I also loved her detail when writing historical fiction.

Genres: Romance, Mystery/Crime/Thriller, Dystopian

A Glimpse into My Values

I am a Christian. I believe God created this world and felt like it was missing without you and I. He created us with purpose. He wanted to have a relationship with us, but did not want to force it so we were given free will. He then sent Jesus as our Savior so we could always turn to him and begin a relationship if we ever so desired.

Warning Label

I am not a man hater.

In my writing and videos, there is a chance, I might sound like I hate men. I would like to preface, I do not. I love men and would love one of my own. This is meant to be humorous and lighthearted. There is nothing more attractive to me than a man being a man. In real life, I will proudly my man my man ALL DAY for a man that is a man.

Relationship History

I will not be speaking about my previous relationships in any form or fashion. The whole point is to look to the pages for my potential soulmate, not to dabble in the past.
